This ad screams exotic

I don’t know why so many guys don’t like this ad! It’s a marvelous with its exotic trans-national theme! The Arabic music rocks, the shooting locale (Cuba) with people of all races rocks…it’s simply an awesome ad and I think it also talks of Bajaj’s presence in many countries around the world. It’s reminiscent of scenes like the chase through an Asian marketplace in what was that Pierce Brosnan Bond movie. This ad screams exotic, different and coming of age for India and Bajaj.

“I feel like God” Avenger ad

I didnt like this ad one bit. After the fantastic “I feel like God” Avenger ad, this one is a real dampner. Plus, why do I get this feeling that its a rip off of the Nike ad for the Cricket World cup, where the young boys cricket it on the truck rooftops in the midst of a traffic jam????
Full points for copying the theme, translating it into a firang environ & heap it on the underestimated viewer. For shame!

i have a discover dtsi & it is great. intially i thought of buying a 150 cc bike, but when i test drove it i felt the same power and pick up as that of a pulsar. its pick up, its looks are awesome riding quality is superb. its much better than all 125 cc bikes like glamour(-a waste of money),victor etc. its even better than achiever and apache. when u ride it u can feel the power which is absent in all hh bikes -BAJAJ IS THE BEST. AND WHAT U PEOPLE SAY BOUT CBZX IS WRONG ,it does not give features acc to its price and low mileage prob still exists. HH BIKES R POOR ,IHAVE DRIVEN ALL OF THEM EXCEPT KARIZMA which is made with the help of honda. so if u want a bike with power pichup &performance go for discover or pulsar………….and all HH LOVERS SHUT UP…………………

CBZ,well only name is quite enough to descripe its potential n looks,when xtreme was in the market i was very much exited to c the bike coz my xpectation towards the bike was very high n when the bike hit the road all my xpectations had proved false,i was xpecting CBZ with the old look n some modification in it like a quite little modification in its fearing,tyres with maquil 2pcs handle n many other stuff even i own CBZ so i know the power n pickup of the bike is quite good but cannot lead pulsar ne way,so pls this is a request bring back again the old one with 180cc engine n some modification in it.

3 months passed me owning an CBZ-Xtream

Hi everyone, its been 3 months passed me owning an CBZ-Xtream. It has crossed 4600 kms so far and am getting solid 50+ kms/ltr in the city drive condition. U know guys I spoke to one of the owner of the Pulsar the new LED model one and he was saying that the bike has not gone for first service yet and he is getting 45-50 kms/ltr, that being the case I have got 66.5 kms/ltr before the first service. Just then compare the average of the bike.. u guys decide which is more economical..

bajaj aventure , some of my friends are using CBZ xtreme , they asked me to get the newly desinged cbz but i didnt accept their suggesions. and one day i had a test drive with Xtreme for 20 KM. i have no words to say about that one. no bike impressed me like this. and one more thing is i was using pulser 180cc before my dream bike.
i can see more valuable advantages .
CBZ xtreme is more than Xtreme………………………………….
guys please think before u buy but if u want to get cbz xtreame
you need not to think u can buy that one it will make you proud.
and am getting 55 kmpl while i drive in the city and 60 kmpl in the long ride

i think this is the best bike bajaj has ever produced… after those 2 stroke engines… n comin to noise…. its not as bad as your rx-100’s… when u can manage those… u can manage this… i don really know who is tat fool who said his 180 was giving… 25-30… i’ll iel u one thing my boy… don overload your vehicle… try learning how to ride first… 200cc. is really givin 40+…welll u may be jealous of the bike….

Hi Guys,
I just got this bike recently (3 weeks), and i liked it. First of all try to understand that unlike the previous Gen bikes this bike brings in new technology. My comments on few of the posts follow.
1) The bike wont start if the gear is engaged and has a time laps set between every 3 failed start to conserve battery, hold the clutch and start it, filling the tank has got nothing to do.
2) On a long ride it’s giving me 50 + and arnd 40 + in city ride conditions (I live in Chennai) likely to increase after couple of service.
3) Gears aren’t as smooth as a 2 Stroke bike but still are smooth if the gears are changed at right speed level
4) Yes the center stand do some-times hit the ground on rough road.
5) Shockers are pretty decent
6) Pillion seating isn’t comfortable except otherwise it’s ur girlfriend
7) For those who are already owners i strongly suggest to read the manual first to know small lil things which u might miss otherwise.
Ride as per the recommended speed for the first 2000 KM.Remember it’s crucial distance for your bike to set.

Forget P200, Bajaj is cheating people

Hey guys, Forget P200, Bajaj is cheating people….I was surprised to know that it is targeted with ‘fuel efficiency’ tag …what maroons are these Bajaj guys !! I had P180…it used to give me 25-30 kmpl….and now bajaj is saying 40+ kmpl….and I’m sure there are fools who believe it….@ Khivraj B’lore the dyno read FE of 90 kmpl….he said 30% less on road…so…it is about 55 kmpl !!!!
Go for Zma if you are enthu….and go for Unicorn or Xtreme if you are mileage conscious…avoid this stupid pulsar

Here is a genuine complaint from me about the BLOODY Unicorn

I sent a complaint last month about my bike. Someone from your side made a call and enquired about the case and said the area in-charge will talk to me. That’s all. No one call me again. Of course, the dealer in Chennai (DIDAR Motors) rang me up to show that ‘they care’. When I told them the bike was with KUN Honda, they said they would talk to KUN people and would inform me about what can be done. They too never bothered to give me a feedback. After fifth time KUN Honda are not able to rectify the problem and I am ashamed to go back to them once more. You people are cheating me. Rather than the troubles I have with my bike, the feeling of being cheated troubles me much. I think we can still sort out the issue in two ways.
1. You rectify the problems of the bike
Or
2. Take back the bike and give me a new bike.
(If you are not gentlemen and ask me to pay the difference amount, I would, after all it is my health being affected)
Copy of the original complaint
After riding a Bajaj KB 100 for long 13 years, I decided to buy a new bike. After enquiring with my friends and relatives, I decided to by a Unicorn. Before finalizing that Unicorn was my next bike, I got a chance of using one of my relatives’ Unicorn when he had met with a road accident and was taking bed rest. The first thing that fascinated me about the bike was its dynamics and then its ride comfort (suspension).
I purchased the bike bearing Chassis number: ********** and Engine number: ******* from DIDAR Motors, Chennai, Tamilnadu. But after owning a brand new Unicorn for over 7 months (3 free services has been done), I regret buying a Unicorn. My bike has been giving me troubles right from the second day. From the day I took delivery of the new bike, I am not at all satisfied with the suspension. Even the triple clamp was not fitted properly. I got it corrected at the Dealer’s pre-delivery inspection section, the very next day. After the first free service I switched to another Dealer cum Service (KUN Honda). Even these people failed to rectify the fault. At least they were smart enough to hide the core defect of the bike.
After I approached the second dealer-cum service centre, they kept repairing and adjusting the suspensions. For the same complaint, I approached them 4 times. Till date, both the front and the rear suspensions are hard. To hide the fault, they adjusted the rear shock absorber to maximum soft. With this setting the suspension is supposed to be very soft. But still it acts hard and in the last 7 months; I have developed Spondilosis (with minor wear of the bones in my neck).
Being an automobile enthusiast and an Automobile Engineer, I always try to trouble shoot the faults for myself, before going to the so-called experts at the authorized service centers. Right from the beginning I have been telling them that at around 5000 rpm, my bike’s engine sound becomes rough and noisy. They said the problem was with the valve adjustment and it has been rectified. When I test-drove the vehicle after repairs I found the condition still not satisfactory. Since the bike was with them for days and I had difficulties in going to office, I took delivery of the vehicle, after marking UNSATISFIED in the job card. For the last few days, the engine sound has changed a lot and I can understand that the problem is with the crankshaft bearings. Since I am not satisfied with the job done by the authorized service people, I am in a dilemma. I feel Castrol supported BIKE ZONE is far better than going to an authorized service centre. But we are forced to go to authorized service people at least for the warranty offered. As a last resort, I am writing to you.
I can list out the major problems I am facing.
1. Front and rear suspensions are hard. (I feel the front fork springs are a little more stiff and the rear shock absorber is to replaced with a new one)
2. Engine crankshaft / Camshaft bearings are to be replaced.
3. At about 5000 rpm (60kmph and in the 5th gear), the vehicle seems to reach natural frequency and at that speed, vibration and noise of the vehicle is at its peak. The vibration and noise dies out at about 5500 to 6000 rpm. (I don’t know what the problem is and what to do about it)
As the makers of the bike, I hope, you would be able to rectify the troubles. Expecting a reply at the earliest,

CBZ Extreme is no patch on even the plain jane unikorn, even gladiator looks better than that.
I expected a sleek package like old CBZ ..and look what they`ve made.
The worst looking bike in Indian Bike history,
- BIzarre rear light
- edges with no meaqning at all.
- Its like a ill dressed vamp - or a gaudily dresed OX in rural india.
While Pulsar is like a well fed race horse.
And those who say evry single dam thing in the world is copied from HH.
A bloody bike can only have a two wheels with either small - long wheelbase, and no matter what you do bikes can be made in some constraints only which Bajaj are using creatively..

Hi I am Ranjit Tripathy from HYD. I purchased the new CBZ 25th MAR 2007.Around 20 days. And i am very much disappointed with this bike as well as the dealer. There is very big jerking sound comming on the bike and I show the bike to showroom engg around 3 times he is doing some think, at the time of deliver it is ok but after 1 or 2 days again it was start the sound. Now a days sound is too high. So Pls suggest me how can I resolve the problem

On road mileage depends on many factors. If you ride b/w 50-60 kph speed…you’ll get 50 + mileage for sure !!!Long ride it can reach 55 kmpl. It’s mileage is better than Uni/Pulsar/Apache…only Achiver gives highest mileage in 150cc….the new Achiever looks really sexy…

CBZ Xtreme and pulsar

It was tough for me to decide between CBZ Xtreme and pulsar, so i took a test ride on Xtreme. When I sat on the rider seat, I felt like this is the one I was looking for…. the bulky dashboard, the perfect handle and much taller than apache and pulsar. After test ride I could’nt wait even for a second and finally brought a new CBZ xtreme on the same day itself. And I tell u that the gears are pretty smoother than any other bike in its segment and the pickup is mindblowing… the engine is completely refined so produces less noise and the control over the bike is also good… if u take a test ride of this bike, trust me u will not come home without one. All on all its its a superb bike.
The only disadvantage of this bike is that there is no place for things to keep because of the shape of the tank…
I rate this bike as 4/5 because we are all human beings and should not be satisfied with the things…

brand new p200

Hey guys…just saw brand new p200 at a bunk…the owner said simply to avoid this bike…he said he is facing many gearbox related problems ….and guess….after filling petrol…it didn’t get started….it has no kick lever….the bunk guys were suggesting him to empty tank and try start it….The tank fairing looks very very cheap….do avoid this bike for time being as stated by above post.

Hey !!! Guys I am totally in Love with this New bike pulsar 200,its stunning beauty at first glance. It has most of the feautures of the Sports bike,Lol looks like bajaj jas all planed to give us a sports bike on indian roads.The onlly one thing i really dont like is it engine ..too noisy ! would prefer pulsar 200 looks with unicorns engine added toit
iF BAJAJ techies do read our feedback would suggest come up with a good and a smoother engine with reallly cool firing noise. reast all u guys rock in designs !

Legend, Chetak 4S, Saphire, Wave, Rave all flopped miserably shows that Bajaj didn’t understand how scooter works since 1948 !! They just manufactured blindly and assembled them according to Vespa’s drawings. Bajaj crystal is another born flop scooter !!
Look at Hero Honda and Honda , they flattened Bajaj in just one shot.
Bajaj’s bread and butter is just Pulsar 150, this bike still having complaints of gearbox, clutch system, right now it’s share is taken by Apache/New Unicorn/Achiever and ofcourse Xtreme. All bikes from Honda are reliable. Bajaj’s quest for No.1 slot is impossible. Hero Honda is known for reliability and good service to bikes n customers.
Bajaj will close it’s shutters b’cos the bad mouthing will happen from their customers itself….Bajaj owners will not recommend to anybody….sure one day it may have to close the shop.
