guys the old cbz was good compared to this xtreme model man the design is the worst and i had test driven this byke the pick up is good handling is good brake is not so good and the gear was little hard and one thing the cbz x shares the same unicorn engine but is not as smooth as the unicorn
dnt belive me just check the engine you will come to know if the design was good this bike had a chance and also test driven the new pulsar 150 dtsi this in looks is the best 150 cc in india not only that digital speedo, led tail lamp ,self canceling indicators ,backlight switches and the most better part is the engine is very smooth and the gear pattern is changed to 1 down 4 up pattern and also the build quality is good and the power has increased from 13.5 to 14.1bhp and engine displacement from 143 cc to 149cc and the handling is improved pick up is good and with all these goddies the pulsar is definetly a winner . i own a yamaha rx 135 now i am planning to buy a new bike but waitng for the pulsar 200 & 220 dtsfi
both are good bikes with oil cooled engine the pulsar 200 is 18bhp bike and the 220 dtsfi is 20 bhp so i am waiting lets see but really disapointed
the cbz was the best bike in style pickup every thing they have killed it with this xtreme , i had plans to buy extreme but after taking the test ride i changed my mind

Hey guys the new CBZ truly rocks,but truly the front fairing should have been better.Hope HH addresses to it when its time to upgrade the bike.Regarding engine and engineering the bike is top notch,no doubt.The pulsars and apaches should take a lesson or two from HH.Hondas dont know how to make bad engines and whats more its a unicorn engine which is tuned.Anyhow CBZ was my first love and I am waiting for the upgrade since a ne 200 CC pulsar is on the cards.

Hey vinayak, I haven’t heard from you for a long time I think u are screwed-up and have accepted that pulsar sucks and you too. U have to belive that, now CBZ X-Treme is gonna rock the indian roads and it has got that X-Factor in it.
U cannot beat this beast with ur so called pulsar 150 or 180, those days are gone when CBZ was merelly a 12.8bhp bike with that huge 158cc engine. Now it delivers more power with 8cc less.

Apache claims smililar mileage to Pulsar, vibrations are in-tolerable even at 45 kph. Pulsar & Apache lacks good quality & reliability.
Overdrive Sept 2006 issue puts Achiever mileage at 62 kmpl, Unicorn at 60 kmpl Apache and Pulsar scored 57 kmpl in standard overdrive test track. Xtreme mileage should be better off TVS & Bajaj for sure.

I own Xtreme and I have old CBZ, Pulsar, Apache, RX135 etc etc, My honest feeling is that Xtreme simply stands different and is here to rock and rule 150cc. In fact I became so curious that I have test rided Xtreme 4 times till dat and I feel it beats my Unicorn in all sense.

That bike is dirt compared to CBZ.

I got my Xtreme today. So have been drivin it all day and its totally amazin. I have pulsar several times in the past and that bajaj bike is no where close to the CBZ. This new CBZ is much faster, stronger, stable than the pulsar. Moreover, its looks great and handles amazingly well.
And please, dont even compare it to Apache!! That bike is dirt compared to CBZ.

What u call as Bajaj’s statergies is something that was created by HH in late 1990’s, the longer wheelbase was first seen in CBZ on indian roads when pulsar was not even born !!.
CBZ X-Treme can be perfectly identified on roads better than pulsar, its that much unique. ya it has a bit of resembalance to ambition and apache!! but apache is far more shorter than CBZ-X in length. and ambition is somethiing produced by HH itself.
And Let me tell you that wheelbase of CBZ-X is 1325mm. where as pulsar’s wheel base 1320mm. 5mm shorter than CBZ-X so now don’t cry and shout, that a so called sports bike should be longer, go and say the same words to the Bajaj people.

I had gone to see the bike and really ,what i had expected i got and i booked the bike,black color looks amazing….
i can gurantee u it is worth than pulsar,i still dont about the fuel efficiency,the dealers told it will give a mileage of approx 50 kmpl..i have booked it and they said i will get the bike only after a month…really waiting to ride it…………..

Hey guys I test rided and researched for 2 long months, I’m buying first bike in my life out of my first savings from my first job. I found only NEW CBZ is the the best. I have talked to many users, read many reviews, magazines,test rides etc etc. CBZ is simply great…..truely unstoppable thriller. That’s my opinion.

I don’t understand why all these proud owners of CBZ X are so insecure about the performance of their Bike. Guys don’t just keep comparing CBZ X with Pulsar, as the latter was developed way back in 2002. CBZ X being relatively new is ofcourse advanced technologicaly. I own a Pulsar 150 Dtsi and I’m very happy n satisfied with it’s performance. I have gone on number of road trips including Mumbai - Goa. It’s been two years and more 25000 Kms and it still amazes me with the way it responds. My suggestion to the One who is challanging Pulsar with a CBZ (Old), rethink about what u r saying dude. I bet the old CBZ will NOT be able to outperform a Pulsar (mine . . .NEVER).
For all the others CBZ X is the latest bike on the Block . . .heads will certainly turn . . . don’t get too carried away . . . it’s just for a while . . .soon we’ll have many of Xs around . . . Congrats for your new X . . . and Happy n Safe Riding . . .Cheers! ! !

I had zeroed in on Unicorn

I had zeroed in on Unicorn after long research, after test riding Xtreme I’m convinced that Xtreme is the best for youth like me, I spoke to two owners too, they said it returns 48/46 kmpl before first service. They also said the accln is simply amazing and can be only compared with Karizma. Right now I drive my cousin’s Discover-125, the bike sucks for power if a pillion is on. Bajaj products are for dumb people I guess

Considering abt the Mileage also, How much Mileage we can get vth CBZ X??? can any body sggest me on this???

Hey guys, There are lots of Pulsars so are mosquitoes and cockroaches, Hero Honda produces best bikes. A five year old CBZ will beat 1 year old Pulsar in mileage test that’s truth, the mileage claims of Pulsar on net are simply sexed up. Check my words on road if required.
I own old Suzuki fiero, now I have decied to buy Xtreme after test it several times over. I know HH customers are the happiest of all.

Hey guys i wanna have a bike for that i got the loan….coz m very crazy for this Xtreme at the very first glimps..But on the other hand Pulsar Pitch black do haunt me in my dreamz when i use to ride my buddies bikes….Sooo…still yet to decide which to buy….both seems to be gooooddd!!! WHILE THE UNICORN ADN THE CBZ XTREME GOES UNNOTICED WITHOUT A SOUND!!!! my number:9884165443!!! yo men!!!MY COUSIN HAVE NEW Pulsar 180 (With the black kit) and cbz.HE find the first 1000 kms disappointing as I found some issues with gearbox and the clutch system. but comparing to unicorn pulsars are behind.pulsars are having a good looks but not a good performance. while riding a unicorn it feels riding a good international bike.i was a great fan of bajaj before honda came to light.i think people should go for uncorn and should modify a bit. while in race pulsars cant catch unicorn. after riding unicorn riding pulsars look like riding a bail gaadi. cbz’s are much better then pulsars only thing are about it’s maintainence and fuel efficiency. i m waiting for 250cc dts-fi have u seen that bike. it really sucks. only thing great is the led tail light and rear disk brakes. the front looks really sucks.i m looking forward FOR a good decent and not romeo chaap bike like bajaj’s are goin these days from honda’s or suzuki.

1. I used caliber because that was my first bike and I didn’t had enough money to buy P180 as I was fresh out of my Engineering college.

1.Y u have used caliber for 1.17 kms.
Meaning to ask that if u are a begger like all the other pulsar owner’s are?
2.Wheather I am a novice rider.
This can’t happen becauze a novice rider does’t own 3 bikes but own a single 100cc bike or a scooter.
3.I donne like liking or fucking any thing as u do. I aman’t doing anything like that with disco 125 which u can see from my current postings.
4.If u think that u have thaught lesson to every one on every bike, My SON its time for u to learn some thing from me for SURE.
5.U play with Discover’s with ur P 180 but I play with Pulsar’s(ANY) with my Disco Dtsi 125. Thing how much talented I am when compared with U….

150cc and 180cc Pulsar

Hey Vin pls don’t wait for Pulsar Dts-Fi it will not be equal to even Katitzma 223cc in quality. Beeing launched after say 4 years appx. fron the day karitzma was launched.
And what is the new thing in that now!!!
Every thing is copied into 150cc and 180cc Pulsar brothers. The glory of
P 220cc is just lost.
Thing that is new is its 220cc, 20bhp and and Fule injection.
I thing U can wait for Karitzma 250cc. And it will be not better than P 220cc but it will come with such a quality and features that P 220 can’t be compared with it.

engine is refined

Hey People,
Let me tell a good news which is for the pulsarians,
The new pulsar 150cc is out now, and 180cc was out before few weeks. the bajaj fools have carries all the styling mantra from 220cc which is not yet released, and also the peppy but unwanted features are copied.
One of the worst is an indicator to say that the tank has less than 4 liters of petrol in it. what’s this I don’t think this is actually required. There are rarely people found in india who fill more than 2 liters of petrol at a single shot. So actually if this functionality really works, then the indicator will always keep glowing and irretating the rider. Instead they could have fixed the throshold to 2 liters !!.
Mechanical Functionality:
The engine is having the same stroke but the bore is increased to make it really a 150cc bike and its 149.01cc now.
And the real punch is that the bajaj people are once again SHOUTING that the clutch is much more smooth than the earlier version, Gear box is made smooth and the engine is refined.
But I think people who actually are going to buy this bull shit bike are the same. Because as I said earlier at every new release this people say that the ignition timing is much refiened and adjusted to extreme level, etc. as above, At the end this bike pulsar has the same slugish mechanical functionings. And I am sure that the current release of P 150cc is not equal to X-Tremes quality. Just because bajaj can’t give quality in ten attempts what HH dose in single attempt.

it’s really a nice vehicle and it’s really x-treme. this is the bike which can really beat the bloody pulsar in small budget. nice vehicle. thanks to HERO HONDA. min ummeed karta hoon ke hero honda karizma ka ek naya dhuadhar model nikalegi bahaut hi jald. DTS-FI ko beat karne ke liye.

I have many expectations from the CBZ Xtream. but when i saw compairision between pulsar & cbz on a T.V. show. I found that pulsar is far better then cbz in all things like miledge, power, pickup, etc. But i want to know about cbz more.

I like cbz old version very much.
i was wating for cbz xtrem for purchasing.
it is very good bike.
two thing is missing in this bike which is old hedlight shape,which was the
personality of cbz old & heavy back wheel.
so i will purchase this bike but i miss these old thing in this bike.
my suggestion is that add these two thing in this bike & get unbelivable purchasinh result.

Hey Pulsar Moderators, Time for you to throw that pregnant bitchy Pulsar into dust bin and get hold of an Xtreme. My cousin owns a Pulsar and he too loved a lot but after sales sucks…he was forced to give his bike to road-side mechanics…b’cos Bajaj mechanics were worst than them….the bike sucks now like a LUNA….it’s hardly 12,000 kms and it’s almost nightmare to own one…..
Xtreme has xcellent power, acceleration, service, brand reputation etc etc…Pulsar is no match to Xtreme.

the previous version was flop bcoz of his Kick and gear system and it has the same thing in Xtreme, no change…
and one more draw back about this that Bajaj Pulsar is very common bike and it has capture the market, and thats why Hero Honda Company shoul decrease its prize at its cost near Rs. 64,000 which is more than Pulsar…
If Hero Honda is decreasing its Price and does some modification in this Xtreme then it shoul capture the Market other wise it will be Bumper Flopp…….

I am a grduate frm kerala and vd like to buy a 150cc machine, i m lookin for the CBZX and gon out to see the X in the showroom..but sadly, its stil not available here in kerala for test ride.i hv to wait till dec first week for gettin my hands on to one.
i am waitin for the bike, with ready cash. i am not a ‘anti-pulsarian’ but i don want to spend my money for a pulsar. coz, evryone 7 out f 10 hav it !! anybody havin a 1000bucks and a bank loan is ther to take pulsar(finally, aftr 2 months bike vd b ther in bank for resale … ).In my stands, 60000 bcks is not a smal amount and i want ‘value for money’.Thts why i m optin for HH wher the reliablty,quality and stsfction stands…

viswa go for CBZ - XTreme. Pulsar will surelly not stay with you longer, becaues it loves its mechanic more than the owner.
Most of the time acceleration is irrresponsive above 80+ kmph. And handling is no where comparable to HH bikes, its So much dependent on the skill of the rider rather than itself.
