planning to buy a bike next month

I am planning to buy a bike next month. Initially i was very much interested in pulsar 200 cc.. By seeing so many comments from u all, now i am totally confused.
I dint do a test drive of 200cc but I like its look, and i hope its performance is not that bad. I am worried about the problems like leaking oil and engine overheating, non available spare parts, bad brakes etc.. which was reported by a few 200cc owners in websites like http://www.mouthshut.com/review/Bajaj_Pulsar_200-124035-1.html . Did Bajaj handled these problem recently or they are still existing.
My friend suggested APache RTR 160. but i dint like its look. Can any review it and suggest me.
I want to choose between pulsar and apache. Milage like 40km is fine with me. I am not intereseted in karisma, somehow it dint attract me.

cbz…its the byk i chose after much discussions and balieve me…i m sold at it…speedo showing 120 kmpr and u push throttle a bit and it dragggs u lyk a bullet surging the road…..best performance, bettr than pulsar and apache definitely

performance is good

the bikes overall performance is good, but in rainy season my bike shuts down,and engine stops, again i have to start the engine ,and many mORE TIMES ,this problem really makes me faddup, so please give solution for this complaint and maessage me on my email ID

hi i expected cbz extreme for its style and excellance but it satisfied only one among them that’s excellence ofcourse the bike is stylish,but not more than the old , colligues concentrated more in back than front you must alter the bike for style as old one and launch a bike soon. finally the bike was so good and as like its old model pick up is very good and very excellant engine

my friend bought pulsar

hi,
my friend bought pulsar, the riding of pulsar is not comfortable,it causes back pain, the pulsar engine produces heavy noise. after that i bought unicorn ,i feel the only bike with no problems, better mileage, pick up& good riding comfort

u can take risky ride also b’coz it is very smooth and good to control
but dont make it habbit b’coz it is not depend on the bike it is depend on the luck.

Honda shine is a good vehicle

Honda shine is a good vehicle to ride in cities ie., in traffic areas. I like Hondashine because of smooth ride even in heavy traffic. But service is not good atll to the customers in service centres. Like other companies Honda company did not enquiring the customers about sales after service. This is the main problem with Honda company. If the company provides feedback from the customers through paper work or throug phone service, the company knows about customers pulse. I think I can get a reaction as early as possible about this problem from the Honda company.Iam the Honda family, that’s why Iam giving suggestions.

Pulsar is a good bike

Guys Pulsar is a good bike…! but Xtreme is the best…
As far as maintainance, mileage (while rash diving too) n
in comfort also…..! n yeah 200% better than pulsar wen
it comes to smoot shifthing of gears…!
U should go for pulsar if u want a bike only for one year
Only thing i found good in pulsar is its look…! bt CBZ
has also got very good looks but not as good as Pulsa

150cc is best in power

I did not meant that my 150cc is best in power. I will not even be able to do a drag with cbz extreme because its more powerfull (though the engine is same), even if both the rider potentials are same. but i regularly beat other 150 cc fair and square on drags. i just had to mention the P180 there only to show that, though mine was less powerfull, i was able to cope up with that because of the handling and because of the cornering speeds the unicorn puts in. The main +point is the suspension. Even if you got the racing-line wrong on the curves, the unicorn just reponds very calmly/accurately to the corrections made while cornering. whereas, with pulsars the situation is much more panicked. The main fault is with the sitting position, handlebar-egronomics and the suspension. You cannot tilt a pulsar as confidentally as you tilt a unicorn. I hope i got your thoughts on my review cleared. it has a gud pick up and goes around 125kmph on long run
i have beaten pulsar 180 wid dis bike
its fun ridin dis bike
PULSAR jus sucks whether its 180 200 or 220
pulsar jus a garbage wich shoul be thrown out of da market

Boss, pls chill. firstly HH are the guys who are doing all the advertising and btw it is cutting into their profits as well - wheras Bajaj generally lets their tech do the talking. anyways they dont need to coz their bikes, as u rightly mentioned are value for money.
and thats where u dont understand the importance of Bajaj. It is not a cult figure, whether or not u HH fans decide to accept it. CBZ was the pioneer.. agreed. But it had flaws. and HH did not have any R&D to rectify it.
. Mind you, HH would still have continued with CBZ and not even introduced karizma if bajaj did not kick their ass with the Pulsars. It has changed the face of biking in India, and has ven led to HH changing its stance and bringing out tech upgrades. TVS has taken a leaf out of bajaj’s booka nd bought out the very good apache rtr.
appreciate the pulsar for what it is. powerful, reliable and path breaking. these are facts.
as far as comparisons go, as Kunal fails to understand - mere top speed is hardly important. the manner of delivery is. cornering and handling is. thats why valentino rossi can still theoretically beat stoner inspite of the latter having a more powerful ducati. coming back to bajaj, thats where fuel injection comes to the picture. also the oil cooler which has long-term benifical effects on the bike. these are advances, man. HH does not have them, they wont also unless honda decides some fine day.. okay.. let the Munjals have this machinery for their woes.

i own a blue pulsar 200cc bike

guys i own a blue pulsar 200cc bike. its truly amazing how the bike accelerates from 0-60kmph.
one wont believe it until one rides it.
i would like to tell these people what a big mistake hero honda have made. the new zma just has new R-stickers &no increase in performance. R stands for REDUX & this word is used only for bikes above 400cc.
the zma doesnt even have digital speedo like the 200.laaging behind in technology.

It was nice ….. I also accept watever you said.
But i will also say one more ting to you. You said you won all the races with the other pulsars with just your 150 cc unicorn.
I accept unicorn is a good bike.. But the races also depends on the rider.
May be the racers with whom you raced may not be so good to beat ur speed.
So please dnt say that you won few races and so your 150 cc is the best.
Same time i support Honda for their best quality compared to bajaj.
