i had bought pulsur 200 it is awesome very cool looking bike i would advise to buy oulsur 200 rather than any other bike .

Almost all the first batch of P200 are reeling under Bajaj’s service stations due to TONS of issues with the bikes. Engine noise, gear slipping, false neutrals etc etc …Avoid this FLOP-BUSTER from Bajaj ATLEAST FOR 6 MONTHS !!!!

But in the test ride, Xtreme looks comfort. (Having an old CZ) Power & Fit is looks good. I am thinking of get this and change this as per my taste.

Pulsar and Apache cant touch this. Apache is good for smooth rider. You cant feel in Appache. About Pulsar............... We are talking about bikes and not about a buffalo :-)

I dont think guys this bike is not touches market, in fact im very much sure this new cbz extreme have good market due to its world class performance engine, its speed, pickup, all speed lovers like this bike very much, and this is very much comfortable too, its looks good but not excellent but no other minor issue i think in this bike.......................
CBZ i like this bike since first time it was launched, you can't say anything wrong about cbz x until u tried test ride it....................................

definitely Pulsar 200 is a nice bike, but nothing when compared to CBZ X-Treme. am sure u have not had a look at CBZ X recently and have seen just the pictures floating on the net. trust me the pics are pathetic but the real bike is awesome. being a CBZ owner in the past, how can you even think of talking abt Pulsar. its a complete crap. take my words and ride a CBZ X and you'll definitely be amazed at the high performance

All the previous Reviews were jst plain OLD FRUSTRATION…!!!!
Trust me guys, all the people who think pulsar is better……There’s no saying about them!!! (Grow up kids)
MERITS OF PULSAR: -
-Really bad rear LED lamps(no style,plain bore).
-Rear Mud-Guard Rocks, Literally it shakes with every movement…!
-ENGINE is the Best…..With more Shakes than a TRACTOR, it really should be called VIBRATOR…!!!
CONCLUSION:-
PULSAR is Good only when other people are riding it…!!!
CBZ…i have not specified anything about CBZ XTreme coz i don’t need to, just look at the faces of the people riding it…!!!

Headlight is small

Guys, I have studied blogs, talked to many CBZ Xtreme owners at service centers of Hero Honda, I have a close friend who has clocked close to 2000kms, I have used it many a times. After all experiences I have decided to go for Xtreme……few things I got from all these sources were,
1. Headlight is small (major complaint- I don’t care)
2. Mileage is 45-50 (personally this is morethan ok to me!!!)
3. Service was good at some places at some places not so good.
4. Gearshift is bit hard initially (that’s ok with new m/cs)
5. The bike is bit big….yes small people look like comic on this bike !!!
6. Accln is excellent
7. Everyone says reliability of Hero Honda is very good (I trust people when the mandate is large !!!)
8. Some were not happy with pillion seating height ( I will be using it solo for atleast 2 yrs…will see later)
9. Handling/Braking is excellent.
10. Tank design actually gives good knee room and good contact for knee while cornering making cornering a sweet n smooth xperience (I found this personally)
I did all the survey to make sure that my choice is nothing below ‘ a perfect bike’. I’m booking next week and I recommend this bike to any Tom/Dick/Harry !!!

I bought the Xtreme

I’m Pavan from Mangalore, I bought the Xtreme not at the advice of my friends but my uncle (who has owned and used all Hero Honda bikes and others). I completed 1400kms w/o crossing 50 kmph speed. On Monday, I took the bike to 100 kmph on highway and the bike is great, I did this again and also my friend who rides rash took it to 120 kmph speed. He says Pulsar is no-where near Xtreme in handling at high speeds.
In normal riding I’m getting 50 km/ltr mileage which is very nice. This bike is out of my own salary savings of my first job, I’m happy that I have trusted money in gr8 bike like Xtreme.
Don’t listen to people Xtreme is SUPEEEEEEERBB bike, just buy and enjoy Xtremely !! Next week-end I’m going for 400 kms tour which I was planning since long time, it will include trekking as well !!!!

i have got a PULSAR 150 dtsi

hey guys.. listen to me. i have got a PULSAR 150 dtsi, which is 6month old only.. i met with the accident twice. just coz the brakes and the overall control of the bike is just pathetic.. i had been riding bikes for the past 10 yrs and never met with any accident.. if u r a lover of speed and thrill riding over 100 kmph.. pulsar is not meant for u.. believe me i got the experience with accidents,,. so i hav sold that bike off and planning to buy CBZ xtreme which is really good with speed riding.. i have done the riding so many time on this bike it has come out with a cool performance.. the best part is the BRAKING.. i applied the brakes at 100 kmpl and it was awesome feeling of safety which cant be achieved in pulsar,,.. also there is no prob in achieving 100 kmph without much of the vibration(thats wat i felt) whereas u really need to tussle with pulsar to get this performance.. although there are few negatives with xtreme like the small headlight and the bad styling of seat coming upto the fuel tank which doesnt look so good.. rear part s awesome.also the price is abit more if lokk for the accessories respectively……. but overall positives are high as compared to the negatives.. so without any doubt i m buying this bike on march 1st….

As i was going through this website i thought of sharing my Experience also with you people.I purchased this awesome bike on 8th of last month.Initially i was looking to purchase pulsar but one of my friend who already has pulsar suggested me to go for any Hero Honda bike.At that time CBZ-EXTREME was just launched in the market.So i went for it n believe me guyz this bike rocks.The acceleration of this bike is awesome n the average in city conditions is also pretty cool.So if u are planning to purchase a bike i wil say just gooooo for it.

For all CBZ owners

For all CBZ owners, to have near LESS vibrations at higher speed, please drive the first 2000 kms within 50 kmph speed and sdon’t cross 4000 rpm. Self drive and don’t give it to rash riders. I also bought new Xtreme and I’m following my friend’s instruction for better life of bike. My frnz bike is smooooooth and better than any bike in India.
People who subject the bike to higher speed initially(follow instructions carefully) may face problems.

Bought my CBZ-Xtreme. Excellent bike, it is a pleasure to ride it. It has not yet made even 100 km, giving a fuel efficiency of 44 kmpl (slow city riding). Is it too low? Will it improve after first servicing?

Well i think CBZ is hero honda’s great success,well i stay in Gulf and visit india every year or may sumtimes twice….and i make sure that whenever i cum to bombay i buy a good second hand cbz and ride it to the fullest….the old cbz rocked in its own time but sumhow i still think that the old shape wuz rockin.The new shapes looks like a mix up of apache and ambition.the alloys are the same of Karizma….not so impressive sorry to say that but i think that Karizma wuz better…hope to c sumthin better next time.

Last week end I took Xtreme

Last week end I took Xtreme to it’s Xtremes on NH4 and believe me guys, Xtreme rocks at 90+ speeds. Very Smooth and handling is even better than Unicorn. Power is simply awesome. I have taken Pulsars above 80 speeds several times but after riding Xtreme I feel Pulsar is very bad after 80+ speeds. You’ll get tripped if you try to turn a bit or brake a bit. Xtreme is simply awesome. But Xtreme is not stunt friendly due to it’s long wheel base, Apache wins here. But Xtreme rocks overall and Hero Honda quality can be trusted easily. Xtreme gives 45-52 mileage dependng on type of usage. For normal city driving expect it to fetch above 45 kmpl.

Hi everyone, don’t doubt about the average of the Xtream, me being a owner of the CBZ-Xtream I am proud to say that I am getting an average of 50++ kms/ltr in the city driving condition. The control is good again and the pickup is damn good. It pulls the attention of the other riders on the road. I can say that a CBZ-Xtream alone cannot catch a CBZ-Xtream then imagine, other bikes in the same segment, cannot even reach the CBZ-Xtream.. this is a fact.

cbz xtreme is a good bike.overall design is good.the performance is also good with 14.4 bhp of power(more than any of the bikes in 150 segment).the front doom isnt attractive. it looks damn small compared to apache n pulsar.and there is missing of fog lamps in it but has a multi reflecting head light.i got 1 black with me.i m planning to change its front doom with that in karizma and add the graphics as in karizma r.the hero honda is planning the f! version of xtreme(i hope it has some nice graphics and body covering n a monoshock rear suspension)already HH achiever f! is in progress.hope hero honda will succeed in fuel injection version of the upcoming bikes…………………

1.service is worst.
No proper technical staff.
2.Regarding Bike suggestions:
a)The welding at the chain and the other side looks very odd,so please go for grinding & painting.
b)The rear brakes are worst-Due to the linkages there is kud noice,braking efficiency is very less.No smooth braking.
c)Gear shifting is bit tight So it can be further smoothened.
d)Mileage-35km/Litre if we ride at 100km/hr.and 4okm/Litre at city conditions.
e)Engine vibration is more.So they are transfered to rear foot rest which can be clearly felt.
So proper dampening from engine to body is necessary.
Please try to improve on this.Believe me No one can beat this bike.
Once again please Improve service.Concentrate on educatng & Improving the service staff.
But it has got a very good looks and power

East or west Xtreme is the best

East or west Xtreme is the best, this is based on my study since last 3 months. Only problem I heard is bit harder gear shift (which become OK with time). Service is excellent and bike is overall top quality.
Pulsar is bad bike, the gearing is horrible, reliability is bad and highly prone to back-pains n accidents too. Apache is equally bad !!
Also, Hero honda company has beaten in sales in last 5 months. Bajaj is reported negative sales in Feb2007, HH is trustable company, not TVS/bajaj.

HARD LUCK TO PULSAR/APACHE

The New CBZ doesn’t look that bad as painted in blogs !!! There are 15,00,000 Pulsarians and >1,50,000 Apaches on road. CBZ is only commented by the owners of Apache n Pulsar.
Pulsar is very dangerous bike India has ever produced, killing lots of people. It’s overall balance/brakes/riding/chassis position makes Pulsar the most deadliest bike. DON’T RECOMMEND THIS BIKE TO YOUR”S WROST ENEMY !!!
Apache is a vibrator that costs Rs.60,000, this is more un-reliable than Pulsar. Quality is worst, vibration sometimes even at 50 kmph speed.
So don’t worry about the comments on blogs, get Xtreme n enjoy the bike is comfortable n safe even at 100+ speeds.

I am of the opinion about the xtreme and pulsar is that pulasr is having some problems in gear and engine but the overall look is best in this range but no doubt honda company is very good but they are not able to give look to xtreme like pulasr and i say xtreme is good , it is comfortable and smooth and we can enjoy it for long without having any kind of problem.

hi, i really like the older versions of cbz but now it’s updated version has more style and grit. i believe that pulsar is nowhere near any version of cbz(my dream bike) but i don’t really welcome the change in front glass over speedometer, it looks a bit diminished. plz replace the front glass with older one and i bet that will be a absolute treat for cbz lovers.
